Because my return flight back to Europe was departing from Jakarta I had to book a separate ticket from Bali to Jakarta. There are several airlines flying on this route. I decided to fly on Air Asia Indonesia because of the good price and departure-time which was suiting my plans.

Booking

I booked my ticket on the site of Air Asia for just over EUR 45. For flights within Indonesia there is standard 1 item of baggage included up till 15kg. Because I was travelling light I didn’t had to buy extra kilo’s.

I decided to book a seat at the exit-row on the wings. This costed me an extra EUR 6 but was absolutely worth its value (see below for photo’s).

The aircraft

The flight was operated with an airbus 320 (PK-AZN). The interior of the airplane look good and had good seats. As I entered the airplane as first passenger I had the chance to take some pictures.

From the domestic terminal it was a short walk to the airplane.

I hadn’t booked a (hot) meal during the bookingproces because my flight was leaving at 9:45 in the morning and had a good breakfast in the hotel. I decided to buy cookies and a drink on board. The cookies were good!

Because I had the hole exit-row for myself I really enjoyed the hole flight. The cabincrew as doing a good and efficient job.

After almost 1,5 hours of flying we landed in Jakarta after a nice and comfortable flight.
